SpringFilm: The Princess Bride (1987) In-Person
Springfield, OR – Join Springfield Public Library for a free showing of the timeless classic The Princess Bride at 1 p.m., Saturday, September 13th in our Library Meeting Room.
About the movie:
A sick child is laid up in bed, when his grandfather comes to take care of him. The Grandfather proposes that he read him the novel “The Princess Bride” to make him feel better, but the child is initially hesitate. After some convincing, the grandfather begins to narrate the classic film that we have all come to love, filled with fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, and of course, miracles. Rob Reiner directs this star-studded love letter to all the great adventure movies that came before it.
