MOVED TO WILDISH THEATER! SpringFilm: Ghostbusters: Afterlife In-Person
Due to air quality, the SpringFilm kickoff is moving to the Wildish Theater, located at 630 Main St. in Springfield.
SpringFilm kicks off another year at Dorris Ranch for a free Outdoor Showing of Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Great for all ages,
Join Willamalane and the Springfield Public Library at the Wildish Theater at 7:30 p.m. at Dorris Ranch at 6:30 p.m., Friday, September 15th for a free showing of the movie Ghostbusters: Afterlife. This spooky, fun for all ages event. Buses will be available to transport folks to and from the venue starting at 6:15PM in front of the Springfield LTD station.
Our Nostalgia packed film stars Finn Wolfhard of Stranger Things fame as Trevor Spengler, a young boy who has moved to Summerville, Oklahoma with his mom and sister Phoebe. The Family, having hit hard times, moves into a ramshackle house once owned by Trevor’s Grandfather in the hopes of starting a new life. But seismic tremors hit the small town, and a strange, eerie mystery unfolds in this small, American Midwest Town….
Starring: Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard and Mckenna Grace; directed by Jason Reitman; 124mins; (2021).
SpringFilm continues at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 18th with a free showing of the Indie Sci-Fi Gem “Moon”.
SpringFilm is made possible by a partnership between the Springfield Public Library, the Springfield Public Library Foundation, Willamalane Parks and Recreation District, and the Wildish Community Theater, and is generously sponsored by Plank Town Brewing Company.
All events are free and open to the public.
