Springfield Public Library’s film series, SpringFilm, presents the 2016 film Hail, Caesar!

Brace yourselves for a trip to old Hollywood with the Springfield Public Library! We will be watching the Coen Brothers’ film “Hail, Caesar!” at the Wildish Theater at 6:30PM Wednesday December 13^th. So join us for a humorous and satirical peak at the dazzling world of Cinema’s golden age.

Set against the backdrop of the 1950s film industry, "Hail, Caesar!" takes audiences on a whirlwind tour behind the scenes of a major studio. The story follows Eddie Mannix, a "fixer" working to keep the tumultuous lives of Hollywood's biggest stars in check. When the studio's leading man, Baird Whitlock, goes missing, Mannix must navigate a world of eccentric directors, glamorous starlets, and eccentric characters to solve the mystery.
