Join the Springfield Public Library for a free showing of the 2022 reboot of Scream at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 13^th at the Wildish Community Theater in downtown Springfield. We’re thrilled to have Jasmin Savoy Brown, one of the stars, joining us via zoom to discuss the film.  A Springfield High School graduate, Jasmin has been making splashes on both the big screen and the hit TV series Yellowjackets. 

Sam Carpenter is shocked to learn that her estranged sister, Tara, has been attacked by a masked stranger and is now in the hospital. What’s more, this masked stranger is wearing the same outfit that her father, Billy Loomis, wore 25 years ago during his deadly killing spree. Sam now joins forces with Tara’s friends to uncover the sinister masked man who has been haunting their steps.

SpringFilm continues at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, with a free showing of the Oscar Winning film The Artist.
