SpringFilm: Run Lola Run (1998) In-Person
Join the Springfield Public Library for a free showing of the German Cult Classic film Run Lola Run, at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 4th at the Wildish Community Theater in downtown Springfield.
Lola, and her boyfriend Manni, find themselves in trouble when Manni loses a small fortune owned by a mob boss. Starting with a phone call across town, what transpires is a time warping narrative that will have audiences on the edge of their seats. This German cult classic film won the Audience Award at Sundance, an Academy Award for best Foreign picture, and has continued to influence modern film and television to this very day.
SpringFilm continues at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 15th, 2025, with a free showing of the thrilling biopic I, Tonya.
SpringFilm is made possible by a partnership between the Springfield Public Library, the Springfield Public Library Foundation, Willamalane Parks and Recreation District, and the Wildish Community Theater, and is generously sponsored by Plank Town Brewing Company.
All SpringFilm events are free and open to the community.
