 languages\, Nahuatl has over 1.6 million speakers based on 2020 data. It is 
 actually the second most spoken language in Mexico\, after Spanish.  
 \n\n\n\nJoin this introductory language series: Jalisco Nahuatl (N-WP | 
 N-PO) for Beginners with Cuitlahuac Arreola Martinez and Matthew Olmos. 
 Emphasis on Western Peripheral dialects including those from Jalisco\, 
 Colima\, and Michoacán. Language acquisition with practice in listening\, 
 speaking\, reading\, and writing. \n\n\n\nWednesdays\, 5:30- 6:30 p.m. 
 \n\nSeptember 16 & 30 \n\nOctober 14 & 28 \n\nNovember  4 & 18 
 \n\n\n\nWorkshops are facilitated in English and/or Spanish\, depending on 
 who attends. \n\nChildren are welcome as long as they are supervised by 
 their parents or a caring adult.\n\n \n\n\n\n\nThis event is a 
 collaboration with the library and the Speaknahuatl.com collective.

 serie de introducción a la lengua náhuatl: Jalisco Nahuatl para 
 principiantes con Cuitláhuac Arreola Martínez y Matthew Olmos. Se hace 
 énfasis en los dialectos de la periferia occidental\, incluidos los de 
 Jalisco\, Colima y Michoacán. Adquisición del idioma con ejercicios de 
 comprensión auditiva\, expresión oral\, lectura y escritura.\n\n\n\nLos
