Please Bother Me Class: Facebook Messenger

Please Bother Me Class: Facebook Messenger In-Person

Could you use a little help with Facebook Messenger on your phone or device? At 2pm on October 12, we will run through tips and tricks when using Facebook Messenger.  The class will spend an hour covering the basics including the layout, special features, sending and receiving messages, responding to requests and dealing with notifications (the little red numbered squares).  The second hour will be set aside for questions and practice time for newly developed skills.

This class has grown out of Springfield Public Library’s drop-in tech sessions, Please Bother Me. These weekly sessions run alternating Fridays and Saturdays and provide free help, tips and tricks on all tech and online problems (within reason).  Once a season the Springfield Public Library offers a Please Bother Me Class focusing on one question or issue where our patrons have requested extra assistance.

All events are free and open to the public.
