UpperEL After School - You Do WHAT with THAT?! Growing Trees with Wastewater In-Person

Come to learn how wastewater (that's right - OUR wastewater) is fertilizing a poplar grove right here in Springfield. Afterwards, we'll have time to create a cool project with poplar wood. Special guests from the Springfield Department of Public Works. 

UpperEL After School 

STEAM, Books & Culture Workshops for kids ages 9-12. 

  • Age range is firm - must be 9-12 to participate
  • Registration required - register on our web calendar or call our Jr. Info Desk at 541-726-3779
  • Walk-ins welcome IF class is not full (Max 20)
  • Instruction begins right at 4:00pm
  • No admittance after 4:10pm
  • Parents do not need to stay in the room with their child - feel free to explore the library!
