Poetry gets a bad rap; it's so much more than ooey gooey kissing stuff! Come spend an hour playing with poetry. We'll be reading a bit from "I'm Just No Good at Rhyming" by Chris Harris and trying our hands at a few poems of our own. 

UpperEL After School 

STEAM, Books & Culture Workshops for kids ages 9-12. 

  • Age range is firm - must be 9-12 to participate
  • Registration required - register on our web calendar or call our Jr. Info Desk at 541-726-3779
  • Walk-ins welcome IF class is not full (Max 20)
  • Instruction begins right at 4:00pm
  • No admittance after 4:10pm
  • Parents do not need to stay in the room with their child - feel free to explore the library!
