Teen Volunteer Fair

Teen Volunteer Fair In-Person

Teens, looking for a volunteer opportunity this summer (and maybe beyond)?  Come by the Springfield Public Library on May 24th from 4-5pm and meet with the many local organizations that are able to offer volunteer positions to teens!

You might be able to volunteer at a museum, pet shelter, resale shop, park, service organization, or even the library!  At the fair, you’ll have a chance to talk to representatives from different organizations.  Each organization will have their own sets of requirements, including minimum time required to volunteer and how to apply!  Whether you only have a couple of weeks free this summer or you’re looking to volunteer for months to come, there will be opportunities for you!

Volunteering allows you to build job skills and a resume jobs, scholarships, and college applications.  Each organization will have their own age requirements, but there will be opportunities for teens as young as 13!

Contact Cara with more questions at ckinsey@springfield-or.gov or 541-726-4653.  No registraton required.  Just come!
