Springfield Celebrates Authors - Danuta Pfeiffer and 'Libertas' In-Person

Join romance and historical fiction fans when local author Danuta Pfeiffer shares ‘Libertas’ an award-winning love story rising from the despair of slavery and the quest for freedom along the Oregon Trail. At 3 p.m., Saturday February 5, attend an ONLINE book discussion via ZOOM (link below) as part of Springfield Celebrates Authors 2022. Described as ‘Roots’ means ‘Lonesome Dove’ ‘Libertas’ is the first in the Pocket Full of Seeds Trilogy and follows a couple’s desperate flight for freedom in nineteenth century America. The novel won the Highly Recommended Award, the Gold Medal and Runner Up from the Historical Fiction Book of the Year 2021 from the Historical Fiction Company. Ms Pfeiffer has also authored four nonfiction books including the international award winning ‘Chiseled: A memoir of Identity, Duplicity and Divine Wine’ which outlined her time as the co-host of The 700 Club with Pat Robertson during his presidential run. She has been a featured author on C-Span TV and is a two-time TEDx speaker.

 Springfield Celebrates Authors is an annual series presented by the Springfield Public Library highlighting local, national and international authors. Springfield Celebrates Authors continues with Oregon Book Award winner Kesha Ajose Fisher and her book ‘No God Like The Mother’ at 3 pm, Saturday, March 12, 2022.

 All events are free and open to the public.
