Springfield Public Library’s film series SPRINGfilm presents a timeless Sci-Fi Classic.
Join Captain Kirk, the crew of the Starship Enterprise, and the Springfield Public Library at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 19th at the Wildish Theater for a fun trek through the cosmos. In the Sequel to the first Star Trek Movie, Kirk and his intrepid crew face off against the devious 20th Century Warlord Khan Noonien Singh to stop him from getting his hands on Project Genesis, a technologically advanced terraforming device.
Starring: William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelley and Ricardo Montalban; directed by Nicholas Meyer; 113mins; (1982).
SPRINGfilm continues at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 16th with a free showing of the critically acclaimed “Everything, Everywhere, All at Once”.
