Teens, ages 12+ are invited to join us for a special Teen Tuesday event on the Fountain Plaza August 16^th, then stick around for an evening of family fun! At 4:30 p.m., teens will have the opportunity to meet and hang out with members of Corwin Bolt & the Wingnuts, a local favorite in the americana music scene. "We play Ragtim, Bluetime, Oldtime, and Newtime." This band creates original music that samples heavily from ragtime, early jazz, string band and classic country from the 1920s through the 1950s. The group includes Corwin Bolt on guitar and vocals, Jeremy Sher on fiddle, Josh Britton on bass, Jeremy Wegner on mandolin, and Rooster Wooster on washboard. For this teen-only part of the afternoon, the group will welcome questions, provide demonstration of their instruments and play some of their music.  Follow up this workshop with a free live concert for the whole family starting at 5:15 p.m.!

Oh yeah! There’s also FREE pizza for the teens, ages 12+, that attend both the Teen Tuesday program with the band from 4:30 – 5:00 p.m. and stick around for (at least part) of the free live concert at 5:15 p.m.
