Springfield Welcomes the World with Corwin Bolt & the Wingnuts on the Fountain Plaza
"We play Ragtim, Bluetime, Oldtime, and Newtime." This band is a local favorite, creating original music that samples heavily from ragtime, early jazz, string band and classic country from the 1920s through the 1950s. The group includes Corwin Bolt on guitar and vocals, Jeremy Sher on fiddle, Josh Britton on bass, Jeremy Wegner on mandolin, and Rooster Wooster on washboard. Founded in 2014, these talented musicians explore, re-discover and re-imagine tunes from greats like Scott Joplin, Jellyroll Morton, Arthur Smith and Ted Hawkins (to name a few) to create their own original and unique sound. Come listen for yourself!
