TALLER EN ESPAÑOL

¡Únase al autor Enrique Andrade y celebre Fiesta Cultural con tus historias!

¿Tienes una historia familiar que no quieres perder? ¡Conéctese y guarde esa historia! Enrique nos hablará sobre las tradiciones narrativas orales y escritas. Luego, compondremos y compartiremos nuestras historias, y luego las grabaremos para recordarlas a sus amigos y familiares.

La clase van a ser ofrecido en español, pero puedes compartir las cuentas en cualquier lenguaje en que sientes más comodo.

Este taller tendrá:
Un lugar seguro para reunirse y discutir el proceso y el arte de contar historias, y compartirlos con un grupo de otros narradores.
Estímulo y orientación para contar sus propias historias.

Sobre el instructor: Enrique E. Andrade, originario de la Ciudad de México, es egresado de la Universidad de Oregon con una doble especialización en Literatura y Filosofía Española y una especialización en Ciencias Políticas. Enrique es bien conocido por ser la voz en español del MAX y participa como voluntario y miembro de la junta de diferentes organizaciones comunitarias. Enrique también ha participado con Portland Story Theatre compartiendo sus historias personales como inmigrante y como un ser humano completo.

Join storyteller, Enrique Andrade to celebrate Fiesta Cultural with your stories!

Got a family story you don’t want to be lost? Come online and save that story! Enrique will talk to us about oral and written storytelling traditions. Then we will compose and share our stories, and then record them to have as a remembrance for your friends and family.

This class will be offered in Spanish, but you can share your stories in whichever language you feel most comfortable. (If you prefer instruction in English, come to the Thursday class with Dante Zúñiga-West--Link here)

This workshop will have:

• A safe place to gather and discuss the process and art of storytelling, and share them with a group of other storytellers.
• Encouragement and guidance in telling your own stories.

Instructor Bio: Enrique E. Andrade, originally from Mexico City, is a graduate of the University of Oregon with a double major in Spanish Literature and Philosophy, and a minor in Political Science.  Enrique is well known for being the Spanish voice of the MAX in Portland and participates as a volunteer and board member of different community organizations.  Enrique also has participated with Portland Story Theater sharing his personal stories as an immigrant and as an all around human.
